hiking with brytnee's activity days group

we went for a hike today with the activity days group up bell canyon to the lake at the top of the trail. We all survived and the girls had a great time. It was perfect weather to go with it being overcast so that it wasn't to hot seeing that the trail is quite steep. it was really pretty at the lake due to the torrential rain that we had last night so the river was running really fast and was very full.

Sunday in the mountains

A couple of sundays ago we decided to go up the mountains after church to do a somewhat camp out (aka campfire, bbq and smores ) with Nathan, Christie, William and Abby. We went out to five mile pass which is west of eagle mountain and south of tooele. We went up a jeep trail that alot of people go up hence all the pictures of cool jeeps that can really wheel and didn't mind if they got broken. Most of the picture that were taken were at one particular spot known as the water fall. It is basiclly a climb straight up rock and most vehicles can not make it up but they like to try.
























these next pictures are of one of the jeeps that disdn't make it and rolled. We didn't get to see them roll but got to watch as they were wenched back up right.
